Poland IT Lab LLC is a New York firm that combines venture capital with philanthropy: it backs technology ventures meant to deliver both returns and social impact. I designed and built its website, polandit.us — a single page, fully in English, live since 28 August 2026.

The brief
The client came with finished copy in a document: six parts, from investment approach to contact. The site had to look like a fund that takes itself seriously in the US market — no stock photos, no decoration, one clear message: Technology. Capital. Impact.
Design
The colours come from the logo: graphite and amber, with dark and light sections alternating so a long page keeps its rhythm. Text is set in Inter, with highlighted words — Impact, focus, investment — in Instrument Serif italic.
Instead of stock photos I generated abstract graphics for this project. The illustration in the philanthropy section is a hand-built SVG that echoes the "A" mark from the logo.

Why static HTML
The site is a single page that rarely changes, so it does not need a CMS. Static HTML means no plugin updates, no database to attack and near-instant loading. A small Python script minifies the files before deployment, and fonts are self-hosted — the browser downloads only the character sets the text actually uses.

Mobile
On phones the menu takes the full screen and scrolls when the screen is short, so the footer with the address never falls out of view. The cookie consent bar hides while the menu is open so it cannot cover it.

Result
The whole page weighs 326 KB on mobile. In Lighthouse it scores 98 for performance on desktop and 100 for accessibility, SEO and best practices. Poland IT Lab belongs to Adrian Furman's capital group — I designed his personal site, adrianfurman.com, as well.
