I am based in Łódź, Poland, which means European timezone overlap with the UK and most of the EU, and mornings that overlap with the US East Coast. Communication runs over email, video calls and a shared progress document.
A simple business website is usually two to four weeks, an online store six to ten, and automating a single process one to two weeks. The biggest factor is rarely the code — it is how quickly content and decisions come back from your side. You get a specific date with the quote.
Yes. There are no bundles and no obligation to add maintenance or SEO because you commissioned a website. Some clients order a one-off audit and implement it themselves, which is perfectly fine.
You talk to the person doing the work, which removes a translation layer and the markup that pays for it. The honest trade-off is capacity: an agency can put five people on a deadline and I cannot. For projects that fit one experienced pair of hands, that trade is usually worth it — for a large parallel build, it is not.
